Are you looking for an experienced biological sciences tutor for yourself or your child? Are you looking for a tutor with experience in organizational and study skills for children 6-18? Are you looking for a tutor with extensive experience working with high achieving students with non-verbal learning disabilities (ADD, ADHD, ODD, ASD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, etc.)? I can help! I tutored biology and inorganic chemistry all 4 years of college and have significant experience working with students with learning disabilities. I have worked with children as young as 1st grade in all core subjects and can tutor up through graduate level biology (genetics, immunology, molecular, etc.). I have taken and tutored for the SSATs and ISEEs(Secondary School Admissions Test/Independent School Entrance Exam) and can tutor for the verbal and writing sections of the SATs and the verbal, writing, and science sections of the ACTs. I do *not* tutor math above algebra I. I have a significant background in biological research, particularly in molecular biology and genetics. I am well-versed in theory and techniques pertaining to biological bench work. I have successfully taken graduate level Immunology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Virology. I am presently in a psychology PhD program and can tutor in the psychology field. I am extremely patient and truly enjoy working with students (both children and adult learners alike!). I am very easygoing and am capable of adapting my teaching style to meet the needs of each person with whom I work. I do not encourage memorization, but rather strive for my students to truly understand the material they are studying. Education in any subject must begin with a solid fundamental foundation!

I am an avid equestrian with a 30 acre private show jumping facility in the Ocala area. I am an animal lover and have 11 horses, one donkey, 3 dogs, 3 pet pigs, and 2 cats. I am an avid reader and I love to travel. I spend much of my free time studying and I am looking forward to a future career working as an I/O psychologist in the healthcare field!
